And the season begins!

Well it's the week before the start of the Indoor Season, training will be a mixture of hard and easy - still need to challenge the body, but at the same time allow for some recovery!

The races i'm planning to enter are:

Sutton Bonington (19/2/12)
Wisbech (04/03/12)
British Indoor Championships (25/3/12)

After that i'll have about 5 days off training from the 1st April to recover mentally and physically - then start training for Outdoor.

My outdoor training will look to try and put on around half a stone of muscle, at the moment i'm staying leaner for indoor due to the tight/slippery corners, however outdoors I can afford to be heavier - as long as its functional (muscle) weight and not dead (fat) weight!

I'll hope to be upgrading my bike soon and start racing some Sportives, Criteriums and Road Races at Cat 4 level - this should help prepare my legs for the long distance stuff on skates.  I really want to get below an hour and a half on a Marathon this year, hopefully if I don't fall this year then I can achieve that!

Today's training was Chest, Core and light cycle this morning with a planned skating Session at Maldon tonight! Tired legs!
